If you read my first post, you already know that finding time to write is always my biggest problem. I want to blog, I have ideas, but spending hours to write, format, optimize images, commit, build, and deploy? That friction kills motivation faster than a merge conflict on Friday afternoon. Then late last year, I was watching NetworkChuck’s video about his “insane blog pipeline.” He’d automated his entire blogging workflow with a single “mega script” - write in Obsidian, run the script locally, and boom: site synced, images processed, built, and deployed. ...
I’ve wanted to start a personal blog for years. Not just contribute to company Medium publications or write the occasional guest post - I wanted my own space where I could share whatever nerdy thing I’m currently obsessed with. But here’s the thing: I never did it. Why? Because I’m a perfectionist. Every time I’d think about writing a post, I’d go through this mental checklist: “Is this interesting enough? Has someone already written this better? Do I have time to make this really good?” And since I have about seventeen different hobbies competing for my attention (homelab, 3D printing, mechanical keyboards, you get the idea), blogging always lost the battle for my time. ...
